A day of intense work for the maintenance of miramare MPA plants where, before the winter, maintenance was started to protect the small cystoseira from the storms that probably will soon arrive. A hard but necessary job to keep the populations healthy in anticipation of the winter.

The reforestation of the seabed of the Gulf of Trieste starts from the Marine Protected Area of Miramare: scientific afternoon at the stand of ARPAFVG where for #Barcolana 51 we are guests with ROC-POPLife to tell you about our environmental monitoring and restoration projects.

Monitoring of the tiles with Cystoseira outplanted in April in Miramare MPA. An intense morning with the working group from University of Trieste, Miramare MPA and special guest from Sistiana Diving Team, the biologist  Marco Fantin, for the monitoring of the small cystoseira that in the two experimental plots are presented in excellent health.

ROC-POPLife in CapeTown (South Africa) ROC-POPLife attends also the 8th Conference on Ecological Restoration in Cape Town, South Africa, thank to Gina de La Fuente. During the conference a ROC-POPLife Poster was presented.
